Manual test benches
Manual test benches, which have a lower cost, are mainly useful in testing small series in conditions that can be extreme. Their technical nature is less complex and they require the continuous presence of a technician.
Concerning the usage of test data, it is possible to consider the analysis of tests in order to improve processes. The fact that these are manual benches, and therefore small series, will limit the use of Artificial Intelligence.
Tame-Test has developed a type of test bench called "Labs". These benches are used for validation and prototyping. All lines of benches (WAVE, RELY, TUNE, REMEDY) are available in a Labs version. In this version, the test benches are used during product design. All of them can be reused as a maintenance and diagnostic tool, once production is launched.
Semi-automatic test benches
Semi-automatic test benches are perfectly adapted to medium series production. They require occasional intervention from an operator. These benches are designed to perform complex tests but also simple (repetitive) tests. Semi-automatic test benches are designed for rugged industrial environments.
With semi-automatic test benches, especially if there are several of them (on one or more sites), you can perform more advanced data analysis: machine Learning, Tame-Data Learning or predictive maintenance, Tame-Data Predictive.
Automatic test benches
With automatic test benches, a technician is not required to operate the power supply or to carry out the tests. Automatic test benches are perfectly suited for large-scale productions, extreme industrial environments or for performing complex tests.
In addition to their efficiency, the advantage of these test benches is that they can be connected to a network. Several test benches send information to a server, which then create a neural network.
Next, the data is analyzed by our data scientists and the Tame-Data software to improve processes. The bench is able to make recommendations about the components of the product.
On-site test benches
Tame-Test provides various public and private entities with mobile test resources to perform different types of on-site testing.
